Kat Grice M.A., CCC-SLP is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who holds Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) and a speech language pathology California state license. She received her Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University, where she received a Graduate Teaching Assistantship/Fellowship and was rewarded the Columbian Women's Scholarship in her third year of study. Since receiving her M.A., Kat has worked in California schools from the preschool age to high school age. She also has worked in private practice for 6 years in pediatrics and with adults. Kat is Prompt Bridging trained and uses these skills to treat articulation disorders, phonological disorders and apraxia. She is in the process of full PROMPT certification. Kat also has intensive experience treating preschool and elementary age fluency disorders. Kat has assessed and treated receptive language disorders, expressive language disorders, speech sound disorders, and pragmatic language deficits. She has experience working with kids with a variety of medical conditions and extensive experience working with the mild/moderate and moderate/severe population in the school systems. |
